Nutalls are a type of enemy that originated in Mighty No. 9. They appear in the Water Works Bureau, the Highway, and the Military Base.
Description[]
Nutalls are robots shaped like a round head screw, and hide inside the ground, wall, or ceiling, with their screw head remaining surfaced. The Nutalls unscrew themselves from their hole to attack the player with three spreading projectiles (which makes them the most vulnerable), and then screw themselves back into their holes. Nutalls are flexible, as they will flinch and bend when attacked by the player.
A large Nutall appears on the Fort Fly sub-boss.
In Mighty Gunvolt Burst, instead of firing their projectiles forward, they will fire vertically out of the top of their heads.
Trivia[]
- Nutalls seem to be inspired by both the Metalls and the Screw Bombers from the classic Mega Man series.
- However, unlike Metalls, the Nutalls can be damaged while hiding.
