MegaXel Form is a Transformation used in Mighty No. 9. It was given as a DLC weapon for all the backers that pledged $60 or more. It can't be used by Ray. It's unlocked by default when installed except for the tutorial City stage, even on "Hard" and above difficulty modes. However, you can use it if you're revisiting the tutorial City stage. It's also the default transformation in the ReXelection button if no previous weapon has been picked before, despite of being on the 9th weapon slot by default.

Appearance

Upon transformation, Beck grows a bright antenna on his visor and his body is segmented four segments of animated hues of color, like the Xel's side. A smiley Xel face is embedded on his chest. When shooting, Beck's cannon acquires a cubic shape.

Functionality

When used, Beck spawns a small Xel that acts as a turret. Whenever an enemy enters the turret's sight, it will shoot rainbow-colored lasers. Beck can have up to three of these turrets onscreen at a time, and they can be placed in four different directions. The turrets disappear after a while. Pressing the "action shift" button while deploying will spawn 3 turrets in a staircase formation.

Trivia

• When on a ladder, the turrets spawn on the side opposite to the one where Beck's buster is aiming. It's unknown if this is a glitch.
• The logo on Steam for the DLC shows Beck with blue eyes instead of the normal green eyes. The contrast between the key artwork for the MegaXel and this logo suggest it's based on a non-final version of the key art.
