Attack and AcXelerate[]

Attack and AcXelerate-1

When you spot an enemy, try to Attack.

Attack and AcXelerate-2

Enemies will weaken and become unstable after taking a certain amount of damage. This is called Destabilizing.
An enemy's body color changes in this state.

Attack and AcXelerate-3

Beck can absorb the Xel of destabilized enemies by approaching them with a specific action. This is called AcXelerate.
Absorbed enemies will disappear.

Weaken with Attack, absorb with AcXelerate. This is Beck's basic battle style.

Xel Absorption[]

XelAbsorption-1

Absorption Rate and Combo
If an absorption is successful, a percentage [XX%] is displayed. This is called the Absorption Rate.

XelAbsorption-1

Absorption Rates change based on the time between destabilizing an enemy and absorbing them.
If the player continuously achieves the maximum 100% Absorption Rate, a "100% Combo" will begin. This combo will add bonus points at the end of a stage.

XelAbsorption-2

AcXel Boost
Beck can boost his basic abilities by absorbing enemies.
These are called AcXel Boosts.

XelAbsorption-3

There are several types of AcXel Boosts.

Lets you AcXelerate straight towards the ground. This is convenient for precise landings, but be warned that you can’t stop once you started.

The Weakness of AcXelerate[]

The Weakness Of AcXelerate-1

AcXelerate actions have the following disadvantages:

Pressing the Action Shift button with “Attack” or “Jump” changes the action.

ActionShift-2

Back-Jump Shot (on the ground) +

Perform a big jump in the opposite direction. Lets you slip through enemies and their attacks for a moment after activation.

Boss Battles[]

BossBattles-1

A special boss health meter appears at boss battles.
Start at destabilizing the boss. This works just like any other enemy.

BossBattles-2

Once you’ve destabilized the boss, AcXelerate and absorb its Xel. Succeeding will reduce the boss’ life and cause it to go back to normal.
Repeat until the boss health meter hits zero to beat the stage.

BossBattles-2

A destabilized boss is invulnerable to all attacks and the damage they received slowly regenerates.

Absorb a destabilized boss’ Xel quickly or it will recover all damage from that period.

Boss Defense and Weaknesses[]

BossDefenseAndWeaknesses

Bosses receive less damage in general (to a minimum for one point of damage).

BossDefenseAndWeaknesses

Each boss has an attack they’re weak against. Hitting them with that attack will inflict more damage.

No boss is weak against your basic shot attack.

You lose this challenge if Beck is defeated. Call, on the other hand, can be revived if she dies. Make sure your playstyle matches your character.

A moment’s hesitation will spell the end for you. Keep your eye on the prize, and give it everything you got!

OnlineRaceBattle-2

For score targets, you receive more points for higher Absorption Rates. However, the damage needed to destabilize targets is random each time, so be careful before you try to absorb one..
Like with many other enemies, touching score targets before they destabilize will damage Beck.

OnlineRaceBattle-2

If your health reaches zero in this mode, you can restart from the previous checkpoint as many times as you want.
As a penalty, however, your score will be reduced.

OnlineRaceBattle-3

The battle ends when all of the score targets are gone or the time limit reaches zero.
